CLOTHING DESIGN SHOWROOM GT31 PRESENTS LUDUS SHOWROOM: THE POST-GENDER SERIES

Clothing Design Showroom GT31 hosted the showroom of the Macedonian sustainable agender label Ludus from 3. June until 11. June.

The showroom was be opened with an inaugural party on Friday, 3. June from 20:00 - 22:30.

The  event presented the current spring-summer 2022 collection by the label, which is the fifth chapter in the "Post-gender" series of collections.

The collection explores the fringes of masculinity and femininity and enhances the unique design approach and aesthetics of the brand. 

This collection goes a step further with sustainability. While all the fabrics are 100% recyclable monofibers, a special focus was working with cupro - or sustainable vegan silk. Transparent silk and cotton shirts the brand is popular for have been subsequently dip dyed in rosemary resulting in a unique and fresh colour palette. Agender tailoring, a subject close to the designer's heart is featured with black entirely handmade jackets and trousers intended to please a taste underrepresented in the current market. 

In addition the  experimental film "Terran Fragments" by Kumjana Novakova featuring the SS'22 collection was screened in the gallery.
